As a key member of the digital marketing team, a Junior Account Manager position will offer you the chance to work on and grow with a creative team that utilizes ingenuity and cutting-edge tactics.

You will also support a wide range of  communication activities and social media channels by writing engaging content and analyzing the overall effectiveness of the company’s outreach efforts.


Qualifications we are looking for:

The best fit for us will be someone who has the ability to problem solve as an individual and as part of a team in a rapidly changing environment. This will require you to learn quickly, fail quickly, draw conclusions from your work and pivot active strategies with your findings. 

Other good fits include experience with photo editing software (Photoshop), a love of social media and writing, and have a bachelor’s degree in English, advertising, journalism, communications, marketing, new media or public relations. You must be able to express numbers in a coherent manner for internal and client understanding. 

High-quality written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as excellent computer skills. You must be able to work independently and efficiently on multiple projects at once and possess the ability to meet production deadlines. A deep understanding of the social media culture and its many platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, blogs, etc.) is a MUST.


Skills we'd like you to have:

  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, specifically Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, blogs, and YouTube

Skills you will gain:

  • Experience with CMS platforms such as SproutSocial or HootSuite

  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager

  • Experience creating and monitoring digital advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, Waze

  • Photoshop or equivalent photo editing and design skills

  • Experience with email marketing tools such as MailChimp

  • Experience with winery eCommerce platforms a plus, such as WineDirect or VinSuite

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Google Data Studio for reporting and analytics

  • Client management

Job Summary:
Location: Downtown Napa, CA
Office Type: Warehouse / Industrial co-shared with office space
Full-Time: Job Type Regular

As Visual Content Creator, you will collaborate closely with the account managers of Astra who work with a wide variety of clients. You will help plan, strategize, and execute the overall visual identity of our clients’ brands across multiple platforms. In addition, you will primarily be responsible for the development and execution of visual content (photography assets) for social media, websites, digital ads, landing pages, email marketing, etc for a wide variety of brands.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop and conceptualize photos, visual elements, and guidelines based on the market strategy of our clients.
- Direct and produce photo shoots on location and remotely.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Managers to ensure that all visual content is aligned with marketing goals.
- Help manage uploads and scheduling for various social media accounts.
- Contribute creative ideas for social media campaigns.
- Retouch/edit images as needed.
- Help design the visual elements for email marketing.

What We Look For:
- Minimum 1-year photography experience, preferably in commercial and/or product photography.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
- Basic knowledge of social media including Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.
- A team player who’s flexible and able to adapt to different situations/environments.
- Both a creative and analytical mindset.
- Desire to grow and a willingness to develop additional skills.
- Portfolio available for review.

Extra Credit (not required)
- Experience in a creative position for an agency or within an in-house marketing/brand team.
- Experience with Google Suite.
